Gateway 286

Gateway 286 is the culmination of over 30 years of relationship and planning and will have an incredibly positive impact on the area.

The Gateway 286 rest stop outside Merritt, BC has already served millions of travelers as they access the popular Okanagan and Thompson Nicola regions. As the population continues to grow so did the need for a reimagination of the site to meet increased capacity. Reimagination was done through partnership bringing together Spayum Holdings, PR Petroleum and Troika Management Corp. to build relations and realize the full potential of this 7-acre site.

Gateway 286 is located on the corners of two main highways in BC – Highways 5 and 97C. This is a unique location that will provide a destination for travels while helping to grow the City of Merritt and provide economic benefit to the First Nation communities involved. Bringing world-class amenities to a world-class region, this site will offer over 47,000 sq. ft. of commercial space including electric vehicle charging station, drive-through restaurants, sit-down local restaurant, coffeeshop and a dog-friendly area.
